Stefan Gubser was born in 1949. After graduating successfully from the Max-Reinhard-Seminar in Vienna he worked at several theaters, among others at the Burgtheater in Vienna, at the Residenztheater in Munich and at the Staatstheater in Wiesbaden. Subsequently, he devoted more time to work on his film career. It was his role as the Swiss superintendent in the pan-European TV series Eurocops, however, which for the fist time introduced him to a wide audience. His role in the successful series put him in contact with renowned Swiss directors such as Markus Fischer, Markus Imboden, Erwin Keusch, Peter Lehner und Samir Stefan Gubser is now one of the busiest Swiss actors. He is regularly working for film and television and on the stage in Germany and Switzerland.
