Julie Fournier was born in 1982 and grew up in Paris. As a young child she already knew that she wanted to be an actress. In 1999 she made her big screen debut in Jean Pierre Mocky’s film Tout est Calme.

Various television productions followed whereupon Julie Fournier decided to attend the Atelier International de Théatre Blanche Salant where she studied acting for two years. In her first year she acted in her second feature film, a fact which did not deter her from continuing her studies. In 2002 she attended the Atelier Damien Acoca and in 2003 she was lured to the renowned Black Nexxus acting school in New York.

At present Julie lives in France where she has become, over the last years, a popular, well-known figure. She is known as an extroardinary, natural and talented young actress and has twice been invited to the Croisette as part of the Jeunes Talents Cannes.
