Wolfram Berger was born in Graz, Austria in 1945. Here he studied acting at the School of Music and Pictorial Arts. After graduating Wolfram Berger started working for the Theatre of Graz, an engagement which was followed by an international picture book theater career.

From 1980 on, the versatily and artistically talented Berger pursuits a variety of interests. He works for film, radio and TV and realizes his own musical, satirical, poetic and theatrical dreams.

In 1986, Wolfram Berger, together with writer/director Corinna Claus, founded the Rotta-Theater, where they have realized severeal projects together.

Wolfram Berger is a convincing artist, whether as an actor or director, as a visual artist or musician. The Swiss newspaper Tages-Anzeiger wrote: «His humor has something that is childish, curious, playful, sollen, bright and terrible». His interpretation of Musil's novel for the Hessian broadcast was a tremendeous success. The long reading of «the most unread» novel appeared as the first mp3 audio book in the German speaking area.
