Soundtrack
Compiled by Claude Bravi (Muve recordings) and director Samir, the Soundtrack of SNOW WHITE has brought together a wide range of talented musicians, who give the film a great accoustic grounding.
Featuring dance tracks as well as melancholic mood pieces, the perfectly reflects the ups and downs of the characters' lives, while at the same time supporting the plot's authenticity.
In addition to Carlos Leal's four brand new tracks, exclusively written for SNOW WHITE, the soundtrack features songs from the crème de la crème of the Swiss independent music scene such as Colafluid, Pure Inc., The Young Gods and Yellow Blackboard. Popular Swiss singer and songwriter Sina has also composed a new song, together with successful author Sibylle Berg.
Besides composing the titletrack «Aveugle» Carlos Leal helped produce 3 further tracks for the film, which will appear exclusively on the Soundtrack CD of SNOW WHITE.
Along with Marnix Veenenbos' and Walter W. Cikan's score a melodious mix has been created, perfectly suited to modern audiences.

Austrian Walter W. Cikan and dutch born Marnix Veenenbos teamed up in 2000 to produce and compose film music for directors such as Götz Spielmann and Pepe Danquart. At the same time they also produce national and international bands and musicians.
In 1989, after studying the violin at the Vienna Conservatory Walter W. Cikan set up a recording studio and label called Matterhorn Produktion with Edie Siblik. Their label has successfully produced a wide range and variety of music.
Together with Christian Brandauer, Walter W. Cikan also produces music for theatres. Additionally he plays the bass guitar in two bands, Atomic Bischop and The Roseclub.
Marnix Veenenbos completed his percussionist studies at the Vienna Conservatory and the American Institute of Music. After completing his studies he helped run the Austrophon Studio in Vienna and later joined the Matterhorn Produktion team.
Besides working as a technical consultant, musician and creative planner at the award winning Vienna Symphonic Library Marnix runs a successful music production company and recording studio.
